Time divided, then and now,
things not done, today allowed,
lives past, lives reinvented,
friends lost, then reconnected,
sparkling eyes and smiles once hidden,
kindly offered, warmly bidden,
hugs forlorn and forsaken,
readily received and tenderly taken,
small rooms, empty space,
today are filled with others’ grace,
lives reduced, now enhanced,
feet once still, of late have danced,
lives on hold, can be resumed,
spring’s flowers that have bloomed,
though still here, above it all,
risk managed, anxiety’s call.
