What do you really want,
Palestinian Protester?
You,
who are masquerading in the costume
of freedom and justice and liberation?
Do you want Palestinians to have a state of their own?
Then why has every peace proposal
in the last 100 years been turned down?
Do you want an end to the ‘occupation’?
This was within hand’s grasp, but Palestinian hands were closed.
Do you want an end to ‘settlements’?
This was on the table too, but it was turned down.
Disguising yourself
in the garments of human rights,
belies the naked truth.
Wanting Palestine to be free,
is like Hitler wanting Germany to be free—-
free of Jews.
Liberation of Palestine means October 7,
again and again and again.
And where is the justice
in weaponizing rape?
Understand this:
Two thousand years before the Palestinian people got their name,
Jews had theirs.
One thousand years before Palestine was named by the Romans,
Jews thrived on that land.
And we aren’t going anywhere else.
Freedom doesn’t hide behind a mask.
Justice doesn’t depend on intimidation.
Equality doesn’t promote exclusion.
Democracy doesn’t use the tools of tyrants.
‘River to the sea’, sets nobody free.
